How each platform counts

X
Every link counts as 23 characters however long it is, an emoji counts as 2, and an Arabic letter as 1. The limit is 280, or up to 25,000 with Premium.
YouTube
A video description holds up to 5,000 bytes. An Arabic letter is 2 bytes and an emoji 4, so an Arabic description fits only about 2,500 letters.
Threads
500 characters, with an emoji counted as its bytes, 4 or more.
Instagram
2,200 characters and up to 20 @ mentions. Instagram announced on 19 December 2025 that captions would be limited to 5 hashtags; its publishing API documentation still says 30.
TikTok
2,200 characters for a video caption posted through TikTok's official API.
Telegram
4,096 characters for a text message, and only 1,024 for a caption on a photo or video.
LinkedIn and Facebook
3,000 characters on LinkedIn, 63,206 on Facebook.

These are the limits Rawwij checks before it publishes, the ones the platforms' official publishing APIs enforce. Platforms change them from time to time.

Rawwij counts every account this way

Before a post is scheduled, Rawwij checks its length on every platform you picked and tells you before a platform can refuse it.
